Racks and Pinions.

Public works of art can be curious. This park has three, two of which are stone, which can be seen in the background of this shot. There doesn’t seem to be much, if any, information about them. Normally, you would expect an interpretation board or, at least, a plate explaining what they are supposed to represent. These are obviously left to the imagination, but the internally illuminated sculpture in the foreground, is possibly entitled “Gears Sculpture”.With the proximity of the Chubb Building, I wonder if maybe this is a nod to the gearing within a safe mechanism. It may be nothing of the sort, of course, but my theory makes sense to me.
