Entering Birmingham by Canal.
Taken from our narrow boat going through Brindleyplace.
We went out on a late afternoon cruise. After a trip down the Main Line (out via the Old, back along the New), we then went down onto the Worcester & Birmingham to the Mailbox. Here, we turned round (winded) and returned to the centre of Birmingham. There is a certain magic about cruising at dusk This shot was taken on my phone towards the end of our Canal trip.Although not a particularly special photograph (it’s easier to take shots with the phone than a “proper” camera, this captures the special feeling of travelling through Birmingham at dusk. Like roads in the city, this is well lit, so it is never dark. .
