The Gathering Clouds of Storm Dennis

Billowing clouds approaching.

Over the last couple of days and nights, we have been treated to very heavy rain and strong gusts of wind. It has been very squally. In between times, it has quietened down, although remaining very overcast. This morning was no different. Cloudy and windy for the most part, then a sudden downpour. Then, this afternoon, we were treated to some unexpected sunshine. This didn’t last, and I was able to capture this shot of the heavy clouds of Storm Dennis coming back over..

That was the end of the sun, although at first there was no rain. Just the odd, sudden massive gusts of wind. Then still again. Then wind and rain. It really can’t make its mind up.
