One of four remaining flights between the “Birmingham” and “Wolverhampton” levels.

Birmingham and Wolverhampton are on two slightly different levels, the latter being slightly higher. Tipton had two flights of locks between the two levels, although the other, which led on to the BCN Toll End Branch, and would have predated this flight, has long since been filled in, although the route is still visible. Also visible is the remains of the former gauging station and house alongside the top of the Factory Locks Tipton. The former entrance to the Gauging Station can be made out on the right. Just visible through the fence is one of the bricked up doorways that led inside the building.
