Alvechurch Village Centre.
Today’s shot is still transport related and is about half a mile away from the previous photograph. I got out earlier tonight, so we can enjoy the lovely deep blue of the sky. The building nearest the camera, now an Estate Agents, was originally the Smithy, as can be guessed from its profile. There are a lot of lovely old buildings juxtaposed with new in Alvechurch Village Centre.Around this crossroads are a number of clearly very old buildings – many of which are black and white. The photograph has not been taken from the carriageway as it appears. There is a pedestrian crossing point here, where the road narrows to single width. There are some wonderful light trails, including the trafficator light on one of the vehicles that has turned right whilst the exposure was taking place.
