Communion.
On Armistice Day there is a lot to think about. A time to reflect. On this occasion, we were attending a meeting of the Boaters’ Christian Fellowship. And shared communion.
The bread and wine is central to the Christian faith. It is representative of the sacrifice of love and grace by the reconciliation through Jesus between man and God.
This is not a “religious” blog. This is about photography. However, Jesus preached peace and love. Not the “Love and Peace, Man” of the 60s. A lasting peace, one which should make the world a better place.
Man as a race has a lot to learn. In the meantime, reflect on the meaning of this humble ritual of communion. One that reminds that man is sinful – something that we see in the news daily. But, that there is forgiveness in Jesus to those that believe.
