Reflections in the tree.
One for the Festive Season! A close up of the reflection in a Christmas Bauble on the tree. Capturing the sparkle of the time of year.I have seen shots like this before, and wanted to capture something similar. Using a long lens and a wide aperture, the decoration is in focus, but the surrounding tree and background is nicely out of focus.
The rest of the room (and myself, if you look closely enough) is visible in the reflection contained in the Christmas bauble.

We came across your photo (reflections in the tree) while we were looking for a logo for our foodbank’s (Lambeth & Croydon) Christmas campaign. We absolutely love it and feel it would be the perfect fit for our ‘Do you see what I see’ campaign focussing on food poverty and its various causes.
