Griffins Butchers, Newbury.
The Red and White stripes used to be a familiar sight in many towns. Griffins Butchers, Newbury, is still keeping the tradition alive.
The prominent position is obviously helpful. The scene could be fairly timeless. The (semi)-pedestrianised street, the painted sign on the wall, the sunshades out.
Established in 1856, the shop is very busy most days, selling quality meats with the service you expect from a traditional independent butcher.
