Disconnected Branch.

Left hanging but impaled!

We remember this from last time we were in Rugby. It amused then, and we still think it funny. A disconnected branch that has been left impaled in some fencing!

Obviously a tree has been growing since this fencing was put up. It must have grown through the fencing at some point. Gradually, it has become intertwined to the extent that the two have almost become one.

The tree has clearly been partially removed at some point. However, this bit has just been left. No doubt it is a wildlife haven now.
