Canada Goose.
Looking for breakfast!
This chap seems to have got the idea we are a good source of food! Looking out the window this morning, there he was – and he made a beeline straight over to the window of the boat. This was the cue to get the camera out and make him the subject of my Photograph of the Day. He came nice and close and, with the low morning sun at just the right angle, whilst I’m not a great wildlife photographer, I am pleased with this shot of a Canada Goose.
This almost makes up for the insessent honking these beasts make! There are quite a lot round here, and it’s clearly mating season. Sometimes it’s difficult to distinguish them from a barking dog!
