Procaffeinate: By the canal in the Old Town.

By the canal in the Old Town.

Just by the bridge where we are moored is this delightful coffee bar. Originally the Grand Union Pub, it is now Procaffeinate. There is a downstairs room which does look more like a pub. Indeed, they still sell beers down here. This part is called Apehangers, and is access by walking through a Smeg Fridge!

Today’s photograph was taken this evening. Long exposure, with some wonderful light trails from passing cars. The railings to the left is part of the bridge over the Grand Union Canal, from which the pub got its name.

Now called Procaffeinate, as often happens, it is still referred to locally as the Grand Union!
