George Street, Oxford: Somewhere to eat out.

Somewhere to eat out.

We are back in Oxford. I have gone out at dusk this evening, and taken a few shots in George Street, Oxford. There are a number of eateries here, along with the “Four Candles” pub.

The wall to the right belongs to the Odeon Cinema. I did take a shot of that, but with the lack of lighting on this side, it will be better earlier in the evening when there is still a bit more light about.

This is not a particularly busy road, so getting the light trails wasn’t easy. This was the fourth attempt. I waited for a bus heading down the road, and this has given the rather interesting patches of yellow, caused by the offside destination blind.

If anything, there were rather too many oncoming vehicles for my liking, but this shot came out the best. The sky has just about got some colour in it, and I am happy with the overall contrast.
