Tending the Barbecue.

Sizzling Away.

I reset the ISO before I did anything else! The sun was shining, and it looked a promising day for photography. With a fête on today, there was plenty to capture.

It was the barbecue for the mission today. 300 burgers, 300 sausages. And appropriate buns and rolls. There is something very special about the smell of a barbecue. Although maybe not if you are directly downwind of the smoke!

This photograph captures the essence of the two chefs in action. Concentration. Cooked food and cooking food. You can almost taste the burgers and sausages.

I was framing the chefs and the barbecue. One of several shots taken, I like this one the best as there is clearly some action going on, and both are concentrating on what they are doing.
