Bluebells.

Carpet of flowers in the woods.

It’s that time of year. The walk through the woods to see the Bluebells. A wonderful carpet of blue under the cover of the trees.

It was a beautiful sunny day, although the flowers thrive in the shade of the canopy above. However, the sun glints through the gaps, providing highlights.

This image appears almost abstract. The bluebells in the foreground out of the focal range draw the eye to the middle of the photograph.

A picture captivating late spring – and the looking forward to the forthcoming summer.
